Mount Vernon Music kicks off our thirteenth season with the return of the incredible Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Bluegrass Band! If you were at MVM’s Gala in 2016, you know this is a group that hits it out of the park. Their Bluegrass renditions of Beatles songs are simply priceless.
Daryl Felsberg, as seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and heard on XM Comedy, will perform as master of ceremonies. Mr. Felsberg’s album “Truth or Daryl” reached #18 on billboard and #3 on iTunes.
Buffet dinner by award-winning Goldie Vaughan’s Creative Catering of Mt. Pleasant. Wine, beer and coffee cash bars. Silent and Live Auctions will benefit the Youth Outreach and Scholarship programs of Mount Vernon Music.

Mount Vernon Music Youth Outreach programs bring clinics by expert brass and woodwind players into middle and high schools to help students improve their skills, and performances of musical stories with visual art and narration to elementary schools in East Texas.
Scholarship: Mount Vernon Music has awarded over $20,000 to more than eighty young musicians from communities throughout East Texas. Students ages 10 – 18 can apply.
