Exactly five years after the first ever concert of Mount Vernon Music we pay tribute both to him and his brilliant wife Clara, herself a famous pianist and composer, with three outstanding works of chamber music.

This concert is made possible in collaboration with The Color of Sound at TAMU-Commerce and repeats April 16 in Dallas and April 17 in Mt. Vernon.

Geoffrey Winter played for Mount Vernon Music and for the Color of Sound in 2009 while touring with the American Horn Quartet, and had such a great time he asked to return. He will perform Mozart’s Horn Quintet and the Trio for Horn, Violin and Piano by Johannes Brahms.
