Schoenberg’s Transfigured Night a powerful musical story of regret, forgiveness, and love, together with the touching Quartet in E-flat by Fanny Mendelssohn.

In collaboration with the Franklin County Arts Alliance, MVM will display examples of visual art created concurrently with the music of this program.

Exactly five years after the first ever concert of Mount Vernon Music we pay tribute both to him and his brilliant wife Clara, herself a famous pianist and composer, with three outstanding works of chamber music.
